About Me

What Happens Next? came along at a time in my 20’s where things just felt generally confusing.

I just started writing words on the internet and now, here we are…

Relatively early in my life, I realized that writing was a better and much more preferred option for me than talking. This is especially true for me when it comes to emotions and the experiencing vulnerability. On top of this, I experience incredibly visceral encounters with existentialism and sonder.

One random day when I was 23 years old, I had a thought: I had been spending so much time in my head that I forgot to actually do something. I was just stuck. Suspended in my thoughts. Captive in a purgatory of my own creation.

I’m a writer— but to be more specific: I’m a black girl, raised in the Bay Area, following Christ and praying for revelation of self, daily.
